Soutbos & Janfrederik Selfsorg are 2 self-catering units in the town of L'Agulhas on the south coast of the Western Cape. Soutbos is on the upper level and Janfrederik is located on the lower level of the house. Both have separate entrances and can be booked separately. The units are ideal for a family or group of friends looking for a peaceful getaway in the southernmost town of Africa. The units can accommodate a total of 14 guests.
Soutbos has a 180-degree view of the ocean and L'Agulhas lighthouse. The unit has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6 guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet and sink. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the third bedroom has a double bed. The second bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and sink.
Soutbos' kitchen is fully equipped and features a fridge, microwave oven, four-plate stove with oven, coffee and tea making facilities, crockery and cutlery. There is also a lounge with a fireplace, a dining room, a TV room with satellite TV, and a balcony with braai facilities.
Janfrederik has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps 8 guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The second bedroom has 3 single beds and the third bedroom has 3 single beds. The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.
Janfrederik's kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, 2-plate stove with oven, coffee and tea making facilities, crockery and cutlery. The lounge has comfortable seating and satellite TV, and there is a sheltered patio with braai facilities.
Parking space is available on both premises for both units.
The L'Agulhas coastline is renowned for being the most Southern Point of Africa and the historical town offers numerous shops and restaurants. There is a lighthouse, which can be seen from the unit, and is within walking distance.
Guests can venture to the L'Agulhas National Park and take the boardwalk to the point where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Just a little further, guests can visit the shipwrecks, the tidal pools and numerous other activities and sights, all within easy reach.
