We always value reviews be it positive or negative but all reviews and comments should be fair and evenhanded. The home was totally repainted both the interior as well as the exterior in Sept 2017. The floors were resealed at the same time.
On the first night of the guests stay I was informed that the fridge was not cooling and at the same time I was also informed that the TV was emitting a frequency that adults could not hear, but their toddler's ears were affected by it. I sent a TV technician out who informed me that the TV was working and he did not find anything wrong with it. I, however, decided to replace the fridge freezer as well as the TV. The new 50" flat screen TV and fridge freezer unit was replaced and installed with brand new ones by 11h30 the next morning. I must stress that the TV did not need to be replaced but was a goodwill gesture. Regarding the teaspoons and cutlery, there is a second set of cutlery that is on a purpose made hanger on the granite top in kitchen. I checked today and it is still there, which adds up to six additional knives, forks, teaspoons and tablespoons. There are actually 9 teaspoons. There is also a 5 knife carving set in the kitchen drawer when the client complained that the knives were not sharp enough. I had 2 more new Wilkinson carving knives delivered the same day. The kettle was replaced with a new one, also on the same day of complaint. On closer inspection the kettle had not caught fire but has a loose wire in the plug, I fastened the loose wire and subsequently gave it to the cleaning lady who uses the kettle at her home. Regarding the "broken blind", it clips in and the cleaning lady just snapped the clip back into place in seconds.
I realize that it is frustrating especially when a fridge goes on the blink, but every complaint was addressed promptly. Prospective guests should please also read the positive reviews on the property and not just one person's opinion.
