Fabulous manor house, lovely farm and scenic location. Loved it. Absolutely fabulous manor house. Took our pets, beautiful walks on the farm. Stanford is really a gem of a town. The setting and scenery is spectacular and the locals are extremely friendly. The staff were very efficient, friendly and welcoming. In the words of Arnie, "I'll be back!".

Kuier op die stoep, mooi huis, rustig en landelik. Ja, heerlike plek met fantastiese uitsig vir stoepsit met oggend koffie of laatmiddag sundowner. Die villas is slim ontwerp vir twee stelle om te deel en oor en weer te kuier. Mooi ingerig, netjies en nuut en alles wat nodig is vir 'n selfsorgwegbreek. Die personeel was vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die staproetes, plaasdiere, wynproe en restaurant nooi uit om die plaas te ontdek en te geniet, ons het tydens ons kuiertjie ons heeltemal tuis gevoel!

Breathtaking. We loved our stay at Stanford Hills Estate. We had our dog with us and we liked that they have a fenced area for our dog. Beautiful views, beautiful accommodation. Had everything you needed.

We had a good stay. We had a good stay. The weather (no one's fault) did not allow us to enjoy the unit as much as we would have liked, but the DSTV and WiFi were a saving grace for the first 2 days. The unit is self-catering and fully equipped with everything that is needed. The unit was spacious, neat, and well-decorated. The unit also had a closed-off yard perfect for guests with pets and children. We were given a complimentary 5 litres of water and a bag of wood, which was appreciated. The staff were great, friendly, and readily available for any assistance or concerns. The unit is on a farm, so there are gravel roads leading to the unit. The condition of the roads wasn't too bad, but the rain certainly does affect this; future guests should keep this in mind. I would also suggest that the owners close the patio for guests to enjoy the braai area on rainy days too. Overall we had a good stay and made the most of our time there despite the weather. Thank you for hosting us.

Loved the location and people. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. My cousin took the cottage next to us. From the services and warm welcome to the beautiful view, we had an awesome time. However, two disappointing things - no TV and electric kettle (the kettle is not major though) - the TV I had an issue with especially at night.

Gemaklik, gerieflik en wonderlike plek vir net ontspan. Ons het baie lekker gebly by Stanford Hills Estate se Villa cottage. Baie goed toegerus, en alles voel eintlik heel nuut. Sal dit graag aanbeveel. Dit is twee cottages aanmekaar - so moenie 100% privaatheid verwag nie - maar dit het ons eintlik glad nie gepla nie.
