Baie aangenaam gewees. Die warm water was net bietjie afwesig in die stort.

It was a convenient overnight stay to catch up with friends living in the estate.

Very impersonal.

There was nobody to meet us or see if everything was okay. Interaction was only via cellphone.

For a quick in and out of Standford, it was perfect.

The place is beautiful. I enjoyed it. However, no TV makes it difficult. The place was not cleaned up for the next day's stay over, and there were no refills on tea, coffee, or milk in the room. The milk was also sour due to the heat.

Stanford is 'n absolute juweel van 'n dorpie.

Morne, by wie ons die verblyf geboek het, was die perfekte gasheer. Sy "tips" om waar te eet en wanner was 100% in die kol. Hy het ook vreeslik gespog oor sy eie restaurant (Madre) op die dorp, wat hy en sy vrou behartig, en hy kan gerus maar meer spog. Dit was van die lekkerste disse wat ek nog gehad het en 'n baie oulike restaurant in die algemeen. Wel gedaan Morne!

Rustige middagete en oorslaap.

Baie lekker in Stanford gebly by Morne en Madre. Die interieur is smaakvol gedoen met goeie koffie en beskuit. Heerlike katoen beddegoed en alles was top van die tops. Hulle het ons ook adviseur waar om ontbyt te eet en waar om te gaan. Baie dankie.

Baie netjies.

Was vriendelik ontvang, mense is baie gasvry, plek is baie mooi en netjies, sal beslis weer kom oornag.

Very clean, but cold and austere. Bare concrete floors are not good for winter time stay.

Provide a heater (gas) and some rugs.

Utterly horrendous.

This is not a bed and breakfast and if you are looking for hospitality look elsewhere. The person that received us provided undoubtedly the unfriendliest reception ever received in our 20 years of travel across the world. She barred entry to the house and told us that we were not to come into the house, but could access our room by walking around the outside of the house. If I knew I was renting two spare rooms with outside access only I would have gone elsewhere. This is someone's house where you are intruding by paying to sleep in their spare rooms with outside access only. If I could give a no-star rating I would, this is not as advertised - a bed and breakfast! We feel deceived and ripped off. There are some wonderful alternatives to this place, just shop around.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Stanford View.

An excellent escape from the city life with beautiful views. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We loved the breakfast that was made for us. Definitely a home away from home! Can't wait to get back there and unwind again.
