Absolutely beautiful!

Had a great stay. The doggies were super friendly! Walking distance to the dam where we caught a decent amount of fish. The place was well equipped with everything that we needed .

Ek en my vrou het baie lekker gebly hier. Ons is uitgerus. Sal die plek definitief aanbeveel. Ons sal vir seker weer hier kom vakansie hou.

Nice place, but really needs attention.

The host was friendly. Her husband came to fix the light in one of the bedrooms that was not working. It's a nice little place, but it needs serious attention. WiFi was not working; we were told to use the next door house code. The front door gate lock is a bit loose, so I battled at times to open it. No key was provided for the front door; there were some hanging in the passage, but they didn't seem to fit. The kitchen tiles on the floor are cracked right through and can become a safety hazard if they sink in a bit; they can cut your foot. Please replace the kettle; we had to wash it about 4 times to get the green out, but this happens at the dam. The fridge is really old; it still works, but it can be replaced. The TV cables hang very dangerously down to the floor, especially for young children, a safety hazard. The sliding door to the patio is very hard to open and close; the security gate is difficult to lock. The tiles by the patio have sunken in close to the braai and are also a safety hazard. My husband cut his foot there. The beds are very hard and squeaky. The bedding in the one room, left side bed, was not clean; there are brown stains on the duvet cover, as well as on the throw. The bathroom shower needs attention. The doors hook out if you open them too wide, plus the shower can do with a serious clean. The big dogs are a nuisance as they jump the fence and bother a person. The big white and black one was crouching a lot, and as soon as you open the door, he comes inside and makes himself at home on the couch/bed in the lounge. The brown one is naughty, climbs on the braai, and licks the grid. Perhaps just put the fence a little higher so they can't jump over. In the passage, the plug fittings are open, so little fingers can easily go in there; perhaps just a cover over this. A little attention to detail, and the place will be a lovely place to enjoy. We heard scratching a lot of times, but then realized it was perhaps something in the roof. We will not be going back soon.

Netjiese, goed toegeruste, losstaande woonstel.

Ruim en netjies binne loopafstand van die dam. Heerlik om net te rus en te ontspan. Baie vriendelike ontvangs en diens. Lekker buite-area met braaiplek. Privaat.

Baie oulik.

Die plek is netjies en skoon.

Ons was opsoek na 'n rustige battery herlaai naweek, en dis presies wat ons gekry het.

Baie goed gemanierde honde wat ons laat welkom voel het en glad nie lastig was nie. En ons kon tot middagete op Sondag bly. Ons kon heerlik gaan stap en op die lieflike stoep kuier. Ons sal die plek beslis aanbeveel en ook weer daarheen gaan vir 'n wegbreek. Dankie vir 'n baie oulike plek.

Voldoen aan behoeftes.

Lieflike, rustige wegbreekplekkie. Stilte om net af te sluit van stad.

Voorstelle: 'n klein plonspoel vir warm somersdae om net af te koel sal 'n aanwins wees. Veral Vrystaat wat baie warm word. Enige vorm van aanlê vir TV-kanale om in die aand net kan kyk en ontspan.

Wonderlike kuier gewees.

Hou baie van die buite-braai en kuierarea.
