Baie lekker. The chalet is exceptionally spacious and well-maintained. The air conditioning system is excellent, and the manager is both friendly and highly accommodating.

Perfect. Awesome weekend away, peace is what we got. Staff from the gate and the owners were very welcoming. We were at the camping site and it was safe and felt at home.

Very relaxing and peaceful but not much to do. The stay was very peaceful. The thatch roof in the apartment brought about a lot of spiders. The place was generally clean, but I would have appreciated some of the other little homey touches, like a caddy in the shower, maybe a non-slip mat in the shower, because it was quite slippery, a toothbrush holder, a small bar of soap maybe so you could at least wash your hands; something more than a bread knife to slice meat, something to clean the grill. Fortunately, we packed our own cleaning supplies to at least wash our dishes with. There was no cloth to wipe down the counters. Also, there was no TV. Not sure if it's mentioned in the description, but I know there was one in the pictures. There is an 8 km gravel road to the entrance. No nearby shops really, so you have to make sure you've packed for everything, as the shop does not stock much of anything except wood and ice.

Rustige, aangename kuier gewees. Verblyf was aangenaam, netjiese akkommodasie. Oord fasiliteite kort onderhoud en aandag.

Not great. Getting to the lodge was a dreadful experience. Communication from Travel Ground stated that there is 8km of gravel. Imagine our shock when the directions provided guided us through 24km of gravel. Only to discover that to avoid the 24km of gravel we needed to drive past the Klipgat sign and only turn right at the Leeukop sign. Travel Ground needs to update their directions as soon as possible, as this could have saved us and our car a great deal of discomfort. We then arrived at the lodge and were saddened to find that an illegal worker was being exploited; he is the only employee at the lodge. He greeted us at reception, attended to requests throughout the stay, accompanied us on our game drive, and I'm pretty sure he does all the cleaning. There are about 20 chalets, which is just inhumane. Future visitors: Follow the directions until before the right turn at the board written Klipgat. Instead, continue straight on the R511 and only turn right at the Leeukop sign. You'll only have 8km of gravel as opposed to the 24km that we travelled.

Ongelooflik rustig. Maar baie om te doen. Tekens van die winter is nog daar en dit is droog. Maar na 'n bietjie reën sal dit pragtig wees. Privaat ablusiegeriewe is baie skoon en gerieflik. Sal beslis terug gaan.
