Peaceful, breathtaking, beautiful and relaxing. My stay at The Blue Swallow in Kaapsehoop was delightful. The charming atmosphere and breathtaking views made it a memorable experience. The surrounding nature provided a peaceful escape, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploration. My family and I had an amazing time and will definitely be staying here again in future. Overall, I highly recommend The Blue Swallow for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Kaapsehoop.

A must for everyone! What a fabulous experience. Will definitely recommend to everyone. The accommodation was great, views from the cottage were spectacular. The town and people were amazingly friendly. I loved the tour to Adam's Callander. Had a tour guide, which made it even more spectacular.

Response to Melissa's review placed on behalf of the guest, Charlotte Jean. Your comments are appreciated and will be considered. Visitors to Kaapsehoop must realise that Kaapsehoop is regarded as the town in the RSA with the highest occurrence of mist in the RSA. To counter this, two moisture absorbers are placed in each room. Windows are closed on account of the weather and also to counter little baboons from entering the house but can be opened by the guests if so required. The guest had access to three spacious rooms and doors to these rooms could have been opened to improve air circulation. The Blue Swallow is not regarded as a boarding house, and the whole house is made available to only one family/group of friends. Each room is equipped with a heater as well as extra blankets. Beds are also equipped with electric blankets. The owners did clean one room after the departure of three of the group. This was discussed with and agreed to by the remaining guest. The fireplace is there to be used by guests, and wood is available to guests at an extra cost. In this instance, wood was made available to the guest free of charge.

A short breakaway in my favourite place, hiking, waterfalls, horses and beautiful mountains. A lovely home with everything you need. The large deck is our special place with glorious views! Thank you Lekkaslaap and The Blue Swallow.

Die huis is ruim en gerieflik met pragtige uitsigte. Ons sal verseker weer daar bly in die toekoms. Bobbejane kan 'n probleem wees, hou dus die veiligheidshekke toe. Die kombuis is goed toegerus met 'n gasstoof en skottelgoedmasjien. Goeie kwaliteit linne op die beddens.

Juweel van verblyf. Ons het 'n heerlike, rustige paar dae in Kaapschehoop geniet weg van die stad se gejaag af. Ons verblyf by The Blue Swallow was fantasties. Die eenheid is netjies, ruim en is ingerig met alles wat benodig word en nog meer. Voorwaarlik asemrowend met mooi uitsigte. Van die beste akkommodasie waar ons nog ooit bespreek het. Sal verseker binnekort terug wees.
