Awesome location. Very special energy and area. Phenomenal. High up on the mountain top in a lush and very private space.

Peace and quiet, relaxing, comfortable and nostalgic. Lovely breakaway in the clouds. Wonderful setting with total peace and quiet, with brilliant short walks and viewpoints on your doorstep. The convenience of a pub and restaurant within walking distance makes it even more appealing. Comfy beds and all you need for a comfortable self-catering experience. We have made a commitment to visit more often throughout the year again.

Greatly enjoyed the fireplace in the misty weather. Pleasant self-catering cottage with fireplace. No WiFi in the cottage, however, for that one has to walk across to the restaurant (which is very good by the way). The Edge is a great place to stay at in Hogsback: nice people, friendly atmosphere, good restaurant, interesting labyrinth, unique merchandise for sale.

Atmosfeer was rustig. Ons het lekker gebly, daar was alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Die hout was baie welkom.

Magical location and wonderful, helpful staff. Wonderful location and brilliant staff. Great food at the restaurant. The cottage was comfortable, but is getting a little old and could do with a lick of paint and a deep steam clean in the bathroom. The WiFi in the cottage was not working (and cell networks were unreliable) so we needed to walk to the reception to send messages, which was a bit of a pain.

It was ok. We had a place to sleep and shower. Not a lot of information was given about the place. No guidance as to what was a must-see or do. No clear markings for exploring in and around Hogsback.
