Host didn't leave key for us as arranged, had to make a few phone calls after hours to get access to the unit. House noisy inside. No alternative power when there is loadshedding. Bathroom very inconvenient and small. Otherwise fine.

Dear Rinie, I am so sorry about the communication issue on our side and that you had to wait 10 min for me to get there after you called. We do contact all guests prior to them arriving so that that have my cell number to call for any issues so they can be speedily resolved. All our rooms are provided with battery backup bulbs so that they have light during load shedding. Our Wi-Fi has back up and has never been down, even in 4 hour load shedding we have been on line and our geysers stay hot. We are looking at installing a gas hob for cooking as load shedding looks to increase, we do try to be proactive to keep our guests comfortable. I can recommend chatting to your host for future stays as all of us, in this industry, will go out of our way to resolve any problems and make sure you are comfortable. We are generally known for our restful stay but while you were here we did have a young couple celebrating a birthday rather noisy on the one morning, this is not a norm and we allowed a bit of celebrating before asking them to tone it down, perhaps I should have closed it down straight away - a difficult call for a host, as you want to try and keep everyone happy. We handle each situation on its own merits depending on time of day etc. Again if any other guests advise a problem then we close it down straight away. Our bathrooms are a standard en-suite format but we will certainly take a look and see what we can do to make it more use friendly. I really appreciate the time you have taken to do a review, guest experiences are very important and we will be taking your suggestions to heart and seeing how we can improve the overall experience. In 'n stil, rustige area met skoon geriewe. Die gastehuis was goed geleë vir my, goed uiteengesit, baie skoon en netjies. Die staf was ook behulpsaam en vriendelik. Onthou net om nie te vergeet om te reël vir parkering nie.

Average. Fairly comfortable. Pillows and towels not great. Only half a toilet roll for 3 days. Mosquitos bad and no repellent supplied. For the price we expected a little more.

Sjarmante kunstenaarswoning in uiterste sentrale ligging. Veilige verblyf in gerieflike kunstenaarshuis, naby 'n wye verskeidenheid van restaurante. Heerlike oggendkoffie in rustige tuintjie met die sang van voëls, en pragtige uitsig op die berge rondom.

We found the studio quaint and comfortable. This place is suitable for a quiet get away. Has WiFi which is good for a group but no television or pool area to have gatherings.
