Description
The Post House Hotel is a luxurious boutique hotel, situated just 130 km from Cape Town, in the beautiful Overberg region.
The accommodation offers a choice of rooms that can accommodate between 2 to 4 people, is furnished with king-size beds or double beds, and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with either a shower or a bath. Each of the rooms is air-conditioned and equipped with an electronic safe, a mini-bar with complimentary water, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a microwave, and a toaster. Wi-Fi access is also available for guests to use.
The hotel offers guests communal lounges, a coffee pod, a wedding venue hire, an outdoor swimming pool, and an authentic Country Pub. Off-street parking is available.
The Post House was originally constructed in 1860 and is one of Greyton’s oldest buildings. The building was used as a trading post and a place and lodgings for tired travellers. The main building includes the pub, which is well-known for the Bells Whiskey advert and was also Greyton’s Post Office.
