Being in touch with nature and closer to God! We were welcomed by Amanda and her family with smiles even though we arrived a bit late. This place reminded us of our childhood, the quietness, the serenity was blissful. The 2 young ones enjoyed the animals on the farm; it was such a lovely weekend! I will most definitely return to the cottage because this place gives you peace of mind. You can find yourself again being there and away from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you, Amanda!

N lekker rustige wegbreek weg van die stads lawaai. Ons familie is baie vriendelik verwelkom deur Amanda. The Sandstone Cottage is definitief 'n kindervriendelike omgewing - Amanda het die kinders die lammertjies, beeste, volstruise en plaas gewys. Dit was baie rustig, baie ruim, skoon, ten volle en gerieflik ingerigte verblyf. Hout, charcoal en braaigeriewe was voorsien. Lekker warm geslaap. Amanda het elke dag ingeloer en ons baie betrek by die plaaslewe. Sal beslis weer terug wees.

Beautiful open sky and perfect little cottage! Amanda is an exceptional hostess! Her attentiveness and genuine care for her guests are evident. Prior to our arrival, she reached out to provide precise directions, which were spot-on. The cottage is well-equipped and exudes quaint charm. The farm road, navigated effortlessly by our trusty Jimny, leads to a stunning natural setting. Truly, being surrounded by such natural beauty is a blessing.

Ons gesin kon heerlike rus in die mooiste natuurskoon. Heerlike sielerus vir die hele gesin. Dis 'n historiese omgewing vol interessante verhale uit die verlede. Selfs die stap op die plaas is aan te beveel.

Quiet, clean, spacious with endless walks. This is a place that you stay at if you like farm accommodation, space and quiet. The farm is big and you can walk a lot (we managed about 20km) over a few days. You have to bundu bash, but that's what makes it special. There is an old stone wall on the farm that goes on for miles and at one high point, over a gorge, you can gaze at Isandlwana in the far distance. Saw lots of kudus and many species of birds. The shower is rated in my top 5 list, simply awesome - it will change you. Great people!

Rustig en kalmerend. Siels kos. The Sandstone Cottage is kos vir jou siel. Die rustigheid is perfek om te ontsnap van die stadsgejaag. Die plaasatmosfeer, groen omgewing, mistigheid as jy opstaan, Bella op die stoep, volstruise aan die ander kant van die draad en skape wat rustig wei, is absoluut wonderlik. Amanda is gasvry en behulpsaam.

Great spot for a quick getaway, very comfortable and peaceful. The cottage was very neat, clean, and comfortable. The location is also good as it's away from busy roads etc. Amanda was also an excellent hostess and ensured that everything was in order.

Working farm with kudu and vultures, heaven! Lovely walks and scenery.

Baie lekker kuier. Toegangspad effens sleg, maar kuier was puik.
