Ek het baie lekker gebly, sal beslis weer teruggaan. Ek sal aanbeveel dat daar iets gedoen word aan die klank tussen 2 woonstelle. Jy kon jou bure hoor praat. Die braaiplekke was ook 'n probleem, kon dit glad nie gebruik as dit reën nie. Sal dink daar moet dalk 'n dak oor gesit word.

Dit was baie rustig by Toad Tree Cabins. Geen karre of mense wat raas nie. Die huisie is elke dag skoongemaak en ons gasheer, Lindsey, was baie aangenaam.

Restful. It was restful, despite the continuous rain. Whilst the rustic look/feel was appreciated, getting wet whilst using the toilet was not. However, the charges to visit the beach were not mentioned (this can become costly if a large group visits on a daily basis). Improved markings to the destination will make it easier, especially for those arriving at night. Cellphone signal is very bad indeed.

Location was terrible and far from the beach! Location was terrible, roads were blocked with roadworks and no one communicated this to us! We had to wait 1 hour to go to our cabin! Had to ask for the loadshedding schedule, the ceiling of the cabin had spiderwebs, bedding was not once changed in those 4 nights, communal kitchen had pool chemicals stored under a sink. Not safe for kids! It's more than 10 km away from the beach. The road is so small.

Toad Tree Cabins

I am sorry to hear that the guest was disappointed with their stay, and would like to offer the following response. I sent the guest detailed directions to Toad Tree Cabins, which they chose not to use. Instead they used Google which took them to the rear entrance of our establishment - a road which is under construction. Nomsa was waiting for the guests when they arrived at 11h51- an early check-in had not been requested. When they requested an alternative, Nomsa offered them an upgrade to a cottage, but they declined and then accepted Bandit Blenny, another 3 sleeper cabin. The load shedding schedule was sent to the guest each day. On a 4 night stay the bedding is only changed on request. The chlorine is in child proof containers and kept next to the pool.

Tranquility, lost in nature, beautiful weather and wonderful community. Janice and Lesley are awesome hosts and their staff excellent. Sodwana Bay is my home away from home. Love the people, love the community and what adventures there are to do with the whole family. Beautiful Elephant Coast.
