Good. The place looks beautiful and quiet.

Perfect place to stay, well priced and had almost everything we needed. We were surprised to find that each bedroom had a bathroom that was not separate from the sleeping area, which makes for an intimate setting. It's great for couples but for a group of colleagues, it just meant leaving the room to allow privacy. The kitchen is lovely, just missed a coffee filter (French press). The bedding was warm but with all the rainy days we found the sheets and blankets smelled damp. The gas stove was great and helped when there was load shedding and a random power outage. It's a cosy place with a nice outside braai area.

Well located and comfortable. On the positive side, the beds are comfortable, the showers are great, and the location is excellent. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are lovely warm (new) blankets in addition to duvets. The host kindly arranged wifi for us on request and communicated well, recommended restaurants etc., he also reimbursed one night which we cancelled even though he didn't have to - which is very appreciated. It does, however, need a bit of TLC - it's an old building full of character, but needs new soft furnishings (linen, rugs, curtains) and some general maintenance. Ensuring the shutters are open before guests arrive will also make a world of difference, so it's not dark as you walk in. It's odd to have the bathroom right inside the bedroom, as others have said, but given that it's an old heritage building, I can understand this was the best option for providing "en suite" facilities without having to do major renovations.

Blomme kom kyk in Sept 2022. Eienaars moet asb. dringend aandag gee aan die alarmstelsel. Die alarm het vir al 3 nagte regdeur die nag van tyd tot tyd afgegaan - nieteenstaande of ons dit ge-aktiveer of ge-deaktiveer het nie. Baie frustrerend - ek het bitter min slaap gekry vir die 3 nagte wat ons daar was. Anders is die huis heel lekker.

Kuier het aan alle verwagtinge voldoen. Die gasbottel was leeg toe ons arriveer en ons moes wag tot die volgende dag vir 'n nuwe bottel.

Die huis was gerieflik en goed toegerus. Om die stort en toilet in die slaapkamer te hê was nogal ongemaklik. Dit is ook nie nodig om 'n mikrogolf aan die bed se voetenent te sit nie aangesien daar 'n volledig toegeruste kombuis is. Daar was nie juis ontvangs nie. Ons het 'n taamlike rukkie moes wag vir iemand, en hulle was nogal haastig om weer te verdwyn.
