Gesins wegbreek naweek. We had an awesome stay at Twiga Lodge Mabalingwe. The wildlife roam freely around the house and we were even fortunate enough to see the elephant tribe come through for an evening stroll and drink at the water feed. The house is sufficient and has all you need. Would definitely recommend it for a family weekend getaway.

Twiga Lodge Mabalingwe is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mabilingwe Game Reserve. We had an incredible stay at Twiga Lodge. The owners have definitely put a lot of thought into what to put into the house to make one's stay extra special and comfortable, like the ice machine, espresso machine, extra freezer, bar area, comfy linen, dishwasher, etc. The outside area was amazing with the fire pit, chill area, pool, and watering hole. The animals visited us daily at the house. Mabalingwe itself had so much to offer, from the game drives to the putt putt, the spa, Vulture Bar, and the list goes on.

Excellent. The house is beautiful, animals all day around the house. The cleaner was very friendly. Had a wonderful Easter weekend.

The whole family enjoyed the stay. Booking was surprisingly smooth considering we booked 1 day before checking (last minute). The house is quite spacious and very cosy. We loved the activities at the game reserve too. We booked 2 nights but we felt next time we'll extend, there's just so much to do (or not do, just relax and absorb the quietness). One thing we didn't like ─ it doesn't look like the house was prepared properly before arrival. There was a lot of dust and insect skins on counters and couches. That's the only thing we didn't like. Maybe it was because we booked only 1 day before check-in. All in all, we loved it. Our son says we should make it our local holiday destination.

We had an amazing stay. What an experience - everything was just there as if the owner thought of everything anyone might need. The waterhole is an extra bonus - animals come and go to drink the whole time. Many njala, warthogs, and about 20 to 30 mongooses. An extra bonus: the night before we left, about 12 elephants came to drink water - that was so amazing.

Heerlik in die bos. Twiga Lodge is 'n gerieflike eenheid wat goed toegerus is. Die eenheid is netjies en voldoen aan al jou vereistes. Die eenheid word daagliks skoongemaak en wild is elke dag op jou voorstoep. Lekker speelplek in Mabalingwe vir klein kinders, maak dit 'n gerieflike bestemming vir families met klein kinders.

Pragtig! Uitstaande huis, puik standaard en lekker om 'n watergat sommer net daar te hê wat sorg dat daar deurlopend diere is. 'n Kleinigheid wat nie te veel pla nie is verkeer wat van tyd tot tyd hoorbaar is op die hoofpad. Ons kon ons batterye goed herlaai met die rus, vrede en sorgvryheid wat die mooi plek verskaf.

Good location and wildlife. Excellent layout and cleanliness. We really enjoyed our stay at Twiga Lodge Mabalingwe. It was fantastic to see the elephants up close. We loved the boma area.
