Umkhaya Tent Camp offers exclusive tent accommodation for groups on a privately owned game farm, approximately 3 hours outside Pretoria in Overyssel, Lephalale.
There are 2 separate tents, each furnished with 3 single beds. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, shower, and basin, as well as bath towels. Each tent is air-conditioned.
The camp features a shared, fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, which includes a fridge, gas stove with oven, coffee-making facilities, and a microwave. There is a communal braai area and fire pit with patio furniture, which includes a Jacuzzi. Daily cleaning services for the braai area and tents, along with garbage removal and daily provision of sufficient firewood, are included.
Guests’ stays include unlimited Wi-Fi and a unique view of the Bushveld, along with one game drive per day. Extra activities for booking include hiking trails, game drives with cocktails, lavish bush meals, and gin and snacks with a view. Nearby activities with advance bookings include Phalala River rafting and fishing, Lekhalo Zipline Safaris, and Waterberg Vodka and Wine tasting.
