Quiet, beautiful and well equipped. Tops! Fully furnished quiet environment. Well tucked away. State of the art in decor. Liked the at-home TV operation. Coffee and tea at hand. Would have liked to stay longer.

Absolute value for money, with a stunning interior and fantastic views. We were welcomed by a very friendly owner, who personally showed us around the venue. The unit is definitely 5-star, as everything you could think of was available. This included coffee, tea, sugar, and milk. The bathrooms and showers were equipped with body wash, hand lotion, and even ablution freshener. The interior of the venue is professionally done, and the first impression is that of being in an interior decorating magazine; it is an absolutely stunning venue. The view of the Outeniqua mountain from the venue was an absolute pleasure to wake up to, or have a sundowner while the sun set. The mist on the mountain allows for stunning nature photos and the surroundings were absolutely blissful, being quiet and peaceful. Just the place to relax and switch off from the city buzz. The venue is situated close to everything, to the supermarkets, antique shops; all the beaches on the Garden Route are within a maximum 20-45 minute drive. Absolutely 7 stars.

Beautifully calm, quiet and serene. We had a beautiful stay in a beautiful environment and our hostess, Magda, her daughter, and grandson were all welcoming, kind people. I would recommend their place to anyone who looks for some peace and quiet. 10/5.

Wonderful stay at Villa Maria. Villa Maria has become my "home away from home" whenever I travel to George. From the wonderful and friendly hostess Magda, who always makes one feel extremely welcome, to the flatlet that has everything you need. The flatlet has two rooms, a separate bathroom and shower, a kitchen, dining room, and lounge. It is neatly kept and beautifully decorated with various artworks. The kitchen is well set up with sufficient space and has a gas stove with all the necessary utensils. The guest house is conveniently situated near the mall (6 minutes) for any shopping or restaurants. Being a news junkie, I also loved the fact that they had the full DSTV package, which allowed me to relax and watch the different news channels. This is my second stay at Villa Maria, and I will always return due to the excellent hospitality, service, and stay at the Villa. Villa Maria comes highly recommended.
