Ons kuier was 'n aangename ervaring, a.g.v. puik akkommodasie en gasvryheid. Die kamers is ruim en beter toegerus as wat verwag word. Ons sal beslis weer van die akkommodasie gebruik maak, volgende keer net langer.

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Roux Garden Cottage. We had a great weekend stay! The accommodation is clean and decent, and we had everything we needed. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Thank you for the positive feedback, Angela! We always do our best for our guests. I suspect that the "4" for Customer Service is because I did not respond to your request for dry towels. I am an ignoramus regarding technology, so I cannot explain why your message was only delivered to me the next morning, after you had already departed. I sincerely hope that your art exhibition was a roaring success- as it was amazing!

Cottage really nice but think best for a couple as living area upstairs is part of the 2nd bedroom. Will go back. Dalena was wonderful host and went out of her way to see that we were comfortable and had what we needed.

Villa Roux is clean and convenient. Both rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. With your own key, you are free to be on your own schedule. Thanks for a great stay.

Convenient 3 days' stay in Franschhoek. We had a convenient stay at Villa Roux and felt very safe, even with parking our car outside in the dead end street. There were some dogs around, but it was generally quiet, especially at night. You can walk down to the main road, but we preferred to go by car, because of the distance. The Cottage is well equipped and has enough space for 4 people, with a double bed and bathroom downstairs and 2 single beds and bathroom upstairs. We only used the downstairs room, but enjoyed very much sitting on the balcony upstairs with its wonderful view. There's a kitchenette downstairs, where we prepared our breakfasts. We would choose Villa Roux again if we return to Franschhoek.

Great place - excellent value in a town that is generally very expensive for South African holiday-makers. We stayed one night - wished it could have been longer. Delightful place, well located with fabulous views. Well appointed: simple, clean, fresh feel and look. Everything one needs for a comfortable stay. And a very warm, helpful hostess, friendly resident dog who did not bark at us, and a bird-filled garden. we loved the walk into the town along the free belt next to the reservoir.
