Description
Voorbegin Bosveldverblyf offers accommodation on a mixed farm located less than half an hour's drive from Warmbad/Bela-Bela, 25 from Warmbad on the Thabazimbi Road and directly under the stunning Waterberg Moutains.
The accommodation offers an apartment and a chalet, that can accommodate up to 5 guests.
The Apartment is directly behind the main house but has a private entrance to a private yard that is pet-friendly. The apartment accommodates 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom with a bath and shower.
The Chalet is a free-standing unit that can accommodate 4 guests. The unit comprises 1 bedroom furnished with a double bed, and there is a double bed located in the lounge. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and toilet.
Both units have a kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, 2-plate stove and oven as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Please note that there is no TV or Wi-Fi.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool by the owners' house. There is also a farm dam in which guests can swim if they're not afraid of sharing the water with tilapia. Safe on-site parking is available. The farm dam has fish and guests can fish on a catch-and-release basis.
All linen and towels are provided. Bushveld wood for the braai packs and delicious home-baked rusks for your morning coffee are included. When available, homemade rusks will be provided.
Children will have the opportunity to learn more about life on the farm because there are various antelope and farm animals. They can even participate in collecting the eggs.
Nearby attractions include Adventures with Elephants, Zebula Golf Course, Bambelela Wildlife Care, Thaba Pitsi Nature Reserve, Waterberg Zipline Adventures, Mabalingwe Nature Reserve and IngiloziPark. There is also a hiking trail in the Waterberg approximately 2 km from Voorbegin.
Fresh farm products such as farm eggs, lamb, European wild boar chops, chicken in different portions, cheese sausages, game sausage, beef, different types of boerewors, biltong and dry sausage are for sale. Although there is a farm shop 3 km from the accommodation, ice and hardwood for the braai will be available on site.
This solar-powered property is not affected by load shedding.
