This quaint and comfortable Free State guest farm is part of a working farm which includes cattle, sheep and horse farming. It boasts a fascinating sandstone venue and luxury en-suite rooms, which creates old meets new atmosphere with traditional and solid wood furniture.
Each of the 11 rooms offers an en-suite bathroom with a shower. We supply coffee-making facilities, towels, soap and shampoo. Waaidam Resort offers a bar, as well as an outdoor pool. Braai facilities are available inside and outside the building. If you are a meat, gravy and potato lover, then this is the place for you. The traditional dishes offered at Waaidam Resort are well known for their taste and superb presentation.
We offer a range of activities out in the bush, as well as indoors. Guests can enjoy volleyball, paintball, walking trails and board games, horse riding, quad and bike routes, bird watching and freshwater fishing are extras for the more adventurous.
On those occasions where friends or family want the option to relax and chat over a drink or two, a bar is available and serves a variety of drinks, which also has a built-in sound system which provides background music, and there is a public address system or additional amplifier and 500 watt speakers available for dances. Waaidam Resort is also perfect for team building and has a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities that can be arranged for groups.
