Description
Willow Point is situated on a lovely 12-hectare private, nature and water-fronted site on the Swartvlei lagoon and Swart River, between Knysna and George.
Enjoying lovely views, the accommodation can accommodate up to 12 adults and comprises the elevated main house as well as 2 cabins. The main house can be rented out separately, but the cabins are an add-on and cannot be rented on their own.
The double-storey main house has 3 bedrooms with floor fans on the ground floor and an open-plan kitchen, a living room and a dining area. The main bedroom is furnished with a four-poster queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds. The 2 bedrooms open onto a deck fitted with an outdoor bath and a shower behind a screen under the milkwood tree canopy. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 bunk beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
The open-plan kitchen is located on the first floor overlooking the river, lagoon and indigenous vegetation. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and Le Creuset cookware. Guests can enjoy their meals at the breakfast bar or 14-seater dining table, or relax in the large lounge that is fitted with a TV with Netflix access.
Large sliding doors open the living area onto a large deck with a seating area, a gas braai or a Weber kettle braai area, overlooking the lagoon and surroundings.
The timber cabins are just 20 m from the main house, and the cabins are each furnished with a king-size bed and have en-suite bathrooms with showers.
The tree-lined floodplain provides access to some watersports, and from time to time, adventure courses for children are available.
