Peaceful, cozy and comfortable and an authentic Hogsback experience. If you're looking for the authentic Hogsback experience, this is it. The cabin has everything and more that you may need for a short or long stay; the host thought of literally everything when they stocked the cabin. The cabin was very clean and neat upon arrival, with not a single speck of dust in sight. The cabin is very rustic and gives an old farmhouse feeling. The beds are very comfortable and the living room is big and cozy; my dad especially loved the fireplace. There is a TV with YouTube on it, which is great, even though we didn't use it as much because we were strolling through the massive garden. The garden is as big as four rugby fields, which we did not expect at all, and you have it all to yourself, so it's wonderful for exploring with kids and pets. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner by Wayne, and we had a great chat on the stoep about his past and why he came to Hogsback. The only negative thing I can list is that the WiFi is unstable, but it didn't bother us at all because we were out and about exploring most of the time. We felt very safe, and it was wonderful to be surrounded by the forest and the sounds of nature. Overall, we had a fantastic, peaceful and cozy stay at Woodside Garden Cottage, and we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

A dream of every garden-lover! 2 nights weekend stay with 3 kids just before the Hogsback Open Gardens. The huge garden was absolutely stunning, a masterpiece among Hogsback's gardens: the rhododendrons and azaleas blossomed fully, we enjoyed it undisturbed. Knysna loerie, hoopoe and samango monkeys are visiting the garden, giving it an extra charm! The house is very well equipped, comfortable and spacious. Many heating options are available for the chilly evenings. Our host helped us to make the most of our stay: recommended us hiking trails, restaurants and other activities to have a wonderful experience in Hogsback. If you come to Hogsback to see the beautiful gardens, Woodside Garden Cottage is the best choice!

Safe and peaceful. Amazing. It's suitable for families and individuals. The garden is breathtaking. I was travelling with my kids and we did not switch on the TV. Great hosts. 20/10 .

Wonderful! What an awesome 6 nights that we spent at Woodside Garden Cottage. The cottage itself is fully equipped, clean and surrounded by magnificent gardens. Thanks to the host for accommodating the 3 of us!
