Set within the lush Malmesbury landscape, lies Hillcrest Farm, home of Abbotts Hill Winery. Run by owners Dianne and Cameron Baine, you can enjoy wine tasting in their unique converted cow shed cellar. All wine sales are done from the farm directly, and wine types include Shiraz, Mourvedre, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Call in and organise a tasting and you won’t be disappointed, as the Shiraz has a very intense peppery and spicy flavouring to it – perfect for chasing away any winter chills. Those who have an interest in the wine-making process should know that there are special group wine-making days where you’ll experience everything from the harvesting of the grapes, to their bottling, and you can even arrange to purchase your own product at the end of the year.
