Anura

Description

Anura is a beautiful winery located at the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains in Klapmuts near Paarl in the Western Cape. The grapes are harvested by hand, machine-sorted to remove leaves, broken berries and stalks, and then hand-sorted to ensure that only the best bunches are selected for crushing. Due to this process, you are ensured the best quality wines from Anura.

Both Anura and Frog Hill wines are available for tasting at the Wine Tasting Centre, along with products from Forest Hill Cheesery, Froggit Foods, and 12Pigs charcuterie products. All of these are available for tasting and purchase.

Wine Tasting

The Anura Vineyards tasting room offers panoramic views of the vineyards, ponds and fynbos. This beautiful setting, paired with fine wines and handcrafted cheeses, completes a superb day outing. The tasting room has a small tapas menu that can be enjoyed in the garden, picnic style, or in front of the fireplace.

12 pigs

12 Pigs is a boutique operation that produces handcrafted, cured and smoked meats from plump, acorn-fed pigs.

Froggit

A range of delicious cooking sauces. .

Forest Hill Cheesery

The Forest Hill Cheesery produces a range of artisan white mould, soft and mature style cheeses, which are all available for tasting and purchase at the Anura Wine Tasting Centre.

Wagon Trail Brew Club

Wagon Trail Brewery is a microbrewery offering a selection of craft beers as well as a brewpub. Our industrial style brew pub allows you to sample our selection of craft beers, while witnessing the beer making process in action and enjoying our menu comprising of hand-produced charcuterie, cheeses and laidback gastro-pub style foods.
