Clovelly Beach
Description
Clovelly beach is a stretch of beach with soft, white sands that offer a quieter alternative to the busy Fish Hoek side of the bay. The beach is bordered by ancient sand dunes and the Indian Ocean offers a warmer water temperature than the Atlantic waters on the west of the peninsula. A small offshore ridge offers perfect waves for junior surfers, and the water is often dotted by hobie cats and sea kayaks. Dolphins can be spotted frolicking in the surf and whales frequent the shallow waters from June to November.
