Darling Museum
Description
The Darling Museum was originally established in 1978 as a local butter making museum in the West Coast town of Darling. Today, it exhibits many artefacts illustrating the beginnings of the local dairy industry, but its scope is far larger than that. The museum tracks the history of the small town's farming industry from 1800 to the present day, but also attempts to recreate the experience of town life during the Victorian ages, featuring everything from clothing and furniture, to a photographic glass slide collection and large agricultural machines, including a wheat carbine.
