Duiker Island
Description
Duiker Island is a bird inhabited island off the coast of Hout Bay in Cape Town. It is known for its excellent marine life, such as birds and Cape fur seals. It is visited regularly by tourists and photographers.
There are many boat trips heading out to the island from the nearby Hout Bay Harbour. In summer, Duiker Island is inundated with over 6000 Cape fur seals and a wide variety of seabirds, including the uncommon Bank Cormorants.
