Description
Hoërskool Outeniqua (Outeniqua High School), affectionately known as Kwaggas, is a public co-ed school with boarding facilities in George, Western Cape. The school is the largest Afrikaans medium school between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. It caters for Grade 8 to Grade 12 and currently has 1596 students.
HERITAGE
The school was founded in 1923 at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains. Set along the Garden Route, Hoërskool Outeniqua offers top quality education in a beautiful setting.
ACADEMICS
The school motto is Nobilitat Labor which means “Work Ennobles”. The 2014 Matrics obtained an impressive 100% pass rate.
