Description
KZN Children’s Hospital, a public hospital operated by the KwaZulu Natal Health Department, is situated in South Beach, Durban (KwaZulu-Natal). The hospital was opened as Addington Children’s Hospital in 1931 as a facility for all races, but was shut down in 1980 due to racial tension. The hospital re-opened as KZN Children’s hospital in 2013.
GETTING THERE
The hospital is situated at 10 Prince Street, South Beach, Durban in KwaZulu Natal. The hospital is located close to Point beach and Durban Harbour and nearby main roads are the R102 and N3 highway to the North-West and the M4 to the West of the hospital.
