Lawson Brown High School is an English medium public high school in Millard Grange, Port Elizabeth. The school caters for 851 students from Grade 8 to Grade 12.
HERITAGE
Lawson Brown High School was founded in 1953 with just 109 Grade 8 students and 4 members of staff. Today, the school has grown to just under 1000 pupils and more than 40 members of staff.
ACADEMICS
The school motto is Per Ardua Ad Astra which means “Up the Steep Slope to the Stars”.
