Lichtenburg High School (also known as Hoerskool Lichtenberg, Liggies, or Lichies) is one of the best academic schools in the North West province, offering quality education with a focus on technology. It teaches Grade 8 to 12 and has 1300 students with separate boarding facilities for both boys and girls.
HERITAGE
Lichtenburg High School was founded in 1921 by Mr J.C Markotter. The school slogan is “we do the ordinary the extraordinary way.”

The school had a 2014 Matric pass rate of 99.58%.
