Maclear Beach
Description
Maclear Beach is a quiet stretch of beach that lies just off the Cape of Good Hope, the most southerly point of the Cape Peninsula. The beach is a fantastic fishing and diving spot, particularly for yellowtail and crayfish.
There are two short footpaths that lead to the beach through dense fynbos. The best time to visit is at spring low tide when the rock pools are at their best and you can spend hours investigating the fascinating marine life that exists within them. Facilities include ample parking and ablutions.
