Description
Montagu Springs is a tropical paradise set amongst glorious mountains and vineyards in the small town of Montagu, set along the famous Route 62 in the Western Cape. Offering a variety of heated, cold, and kiddie’s pools, as well as tennis courts, picnic spots, and a kiddies play park, the resort is fantastic for the whole family. Should you wish to explore the surrounds, pedal bikes and bicycles are available for hire.
As Montagu is set along Route 62, the longest wine route in the Western Cape, you can enjoy a variety of wine tasting experiences nearby. Montagu is home of the famous Muscadel and is close enough to both the Robertson Wine Valley and Breede River Valley to allow for day excursions.
The Keisie River runs through Montagu Springs resort, providing stunn8ing waterfalls and wide river banks scattered with over 50 different species of birdlife, including 38 varieties of exotic waterfowl. Visitors can enjoy daily bird feeding opportunities between 10h00 – 16h00. There are 90 chalets for those who wish to spend the weekend.
