Morgans Bay Beach
Description
Morgans Bay is a beautiful stretch of unspoiled beach in the seaside village of Morgan Bay, located less than an hour from East London, in the Eastern Cape. The beach is truly exquisite in its rugged beauty, with a mile of white sand, a safe swimming lagoon, and majestic sea cliffs.
During the day you can relax on the beach and watch the passing ships, get stuck into a good book, or take a long mind-freeing walk. Activities in the area include horse riding, golfing, and hiking. There are several good fishing spots in the area and ski-boats can be launched from the mouth of the nearby Kei River. On the other side of the beach from the lagoon, the dolerite cliffs provide hours of rock climbing fun. Lifeguards are on duty during peak season.
