Mountain Zebra National Park
Description
Mountain Zebra National Park is situated near Cradock, in the malaria-free Eastern Cape. In 1937, the park was proclaimed to save the dwindling numbers of Cape mountain zebra. Today the park covers over 28,000 hectares where over 700 zebra roam with other wildlife, including endangered species like the black rhino and cheetah. Abundant with game, lush vegetation, and invigorating clear air, Mountain Zebra National Park is a tranquil destination where all visitors can enjoy a personal African wilderness experience.
