Mystic Monkeys & Feathers Wildlife Park
Description
With beautiful gardens, waterfalls, and koi dams, Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park is not a zoo in the normal sense of the word. Hosting one of South Africa’s largest populations of primates, along with a collection of beautiful exotic birds, Mystic Monkeys offers an amazing animal adventure. It is situated in the Rust de Winter region of Limpopo, less than an hour north of Johannesburg, and makes an ideal day visit for families.
The zoo is home to 38 species of primates, including the first two Angolan Black and White Colobus and Bearded Sakis babies to have been born in captivity in South Africa. It is also a sanctuary and boasts a family of endangered Chimpanzees whose antics will amuse and amaze you for hours. You will also find the only two Woolly Monkeys in South Africa, as well as a variety of lemurs. Predators at the zoo include the rare white lions, tigers, and cheetahs.
