Napier Winery
Description
This farm, named after Sir George Napier who was Governor of the Cape, has been producing wine since the late 1980s, with several noble vintages planted that produce a Medoc-styled blend, a sharp, dry Chenin Blanc, and an easy-drinking Chardonnay. Their commercial Lions Creek range produces outstanding Cabernet Sauvignons and Chenin Blancs, while their premier Napier Range includes Bordeaux Blends, Chardonnays, and a superior red Bordeaux Blend.
The wine farm is surrounded by the typical lush Napier scenery, and their seven dams act like a mirror on sun-filled days, reflecting the towering mountains and open skies. The passion each team member has for the wine industry ensures that Napier Winery will find a special place in both local hearts, as well as create interest on an international level. Should you visit, enquire about their Sir George Potstill brandy, made on-site at their single brandy distillery.
