Nature's Valley Beach
Description
Natures Valley Beach is a secluded Blue Flag beach located near Plettenberg Bay, along the Garden Route in the Western Cape. The beach is well known as the end of the famous multi-day Otter Tail, and stretches from the mouth of the Groot River to the mouth of the Salt River. With giant indigenous trees, clear rivers, placid lagoons, and isolated sands, it’s no surprise this beach has been declared one of the most beautiful in the country.
The beach is ideal for surfing, swimming, sun tanning, paddling, hiking, birding, canoeing, cycling, fishing, and even star gazing. It’s definitely recommended to get here before sunset, prepared with a picnic basket, bottle of wine, and a blanket to enjoy the carpet of stars from below. There is a restaurant and bar situated near the beach.
