Scottburgh Beach
Description
Scottburgh Beach is a bustling beach, situated in the quaint village of Scottburgh, around 58km south of Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. With a subtropical climate and warm waters, it’s an ideal snorkelling, swimming, diving, and surfing destination all year round.
The beach is safe, with shark nets and lifeguards on duty all year round. Facilities include a mini golf course, tidal pool, miniature railway, terraced lawns, and fishing spots, as well as canoe, body board, and surfboard rentals. Orbing and abseiling is also offered during the peak season.
Scottburgh Beach is conveniently set close to numerous restaurants and shops. The town is home to thousands of birds, so be sure to keep an eye out for them while you’re relaxing on the beach. You can also spot dolphins and whales in winter.
