Seaforth Beach
Description
Seaforth Beach is a narrow, 600m long sandy shore located in Simon’s Town, near Cape Town in the Western Cape. Surrounded by large boulders, the beach is usually protected from the wind.
The beach boasts a small tidal pool offers safe swimming for the little ones, and fascinating marine life at low tide. It is perfect for swimming, scuba diving, penguin viewing, kayaking, fishing, and picnicking. Please note that there are no shark spotters or lifeguards on duty, so swimming is at your own risk.
Facilities include 40 tarred parking bays, 80 gravel parking bays, and various curio vendors. The beach also features shaded grasses areas for picnics. Seaforth Restaurant has a reputation for serving excellent seafood dishes, and with its location on the rocks, you can enjoy a scrumptious meal with a view.
