Summit College
Description
Summit College is an independent co-ed non-denominational boarding school in Kyalami, Johannesburg. The high school caters for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12. A pre-school and prep school cater for younger students. Boarding facilities are available for students from Grade 8 and up.
HERITAGE
Summit College was established in the 1980s as part of the New Era School’s Trust (NEST) by two progressive campaigners of equal education, Dean Yates and Steyn Krige. The aim was to create a school that would offer all students a quality education, regardless of race or other factors.
ACADEMICS
The school writes the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) exams. The school motto is “Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow”.
