Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital is a provincial hospital in Pretoria, Gauteng. The hospital was founded in 1892 and serves as a teaching hospital for the University of Pretoria and University of Limpopo as well as other academic institutions.
GETTING THERE
The hospital is located in Ketjen Street, Pretoria West in the Gauteng Province. The R101 is situated East of the hospital, The M7 to the South, and the M22 and R104 to the North. The Voortrekker monument is situated close-by to the South-East of the hospital and the Pretoria Show grounds close by to the North.
PAYMENT
The Service is free for the following people:
- Pensioners please bring proof of receiving pension i.e pension card or proof from the bank
- Pregnant women and children under the age of 6 years
- Disabled - please bring proof of disability/ doctors’ certificate
Other patients are charged an admission or consultation fee.
