Ansteys Beach

Description

Ansteys Beach, located in The Bluff, is different to most other Durban beaches as it is surprisingly laidback and calm. While tourists tend to flock to the more popular Humewood or Kings beaches, Ansteys Beach is a favourite among locals for its quieter, less populated sands.

The beach offers soft sand and great surf, making it popular among surfers, body boarders, swimmers, and kite surfers. The waters are shark protected and there are life guards on duty during the peak season. There is also a tidal pool, ablutions, and a pavilion with several splash pools and refreshment facilities.
