Mafikeng Game Reserve

Description

Mafikeng Game Reserve is a beautiful reserve located along the municipal boundary of Mafikeng. Covering an area of 4,800 hectares of open Kalahari grassland and acacia thorn bush, the reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including white rhino, buffalo, gemsbok, and giraffe which can be viewed and photographed.

The entrance to the Mafikeng Game Reserve is through the main gate off Jacaranda Drive in Mafikeng. The main circuit takes only 2 hours and offers a truly rewarding game viewing experience. Facilities include braai and picnic sites, an entertainment lapa, and an educational programme for kids.
