Modderfort"Rosendal is 'n ideale wegbreek vir mense wat wil wegkom uit die stad. Dis nie geskik vir dié wat gemik is op plesier en entertainment nie, maar eerder op dié wat stilte en vrede soek. Benjamin's se waffles is 'n moet en dan ontmoet mens ook vir die twee donkies - Basjan en Oscar. Dis 'n lekker plek vir die siel om te rus."

Wedge-Wood Cottage"The town is quaint with loads of little shops and cute restaurants. There is only one very expensive grocery store in town so be sure to bring your basics! Clarens is a beautiful spot nestled among the mountains so great for a quiet weekend of rest and restore. It is only 17 km from Golden Gate NP which is great for a day trip. Pick your accommodation location carefully as there was a lot of weekend noise from the nearby informal settlement."

Patcham Place"Ideal for a 2 or 3 date weekend. Perfect for the craft beer or craft gin lover. Plenty of various themed restaurants and bars, but none of the bars we went to had a cocktail or shooter menu that included anything other than gin or craft beer. If you are not the outdoors type you may find that 2 days is more than enough to get through everything this small town has to offer."
