"We did not have any great experiences in this little town — the owners of the Spar were however extremely helpful and friendly — really went out of their way to promote the surrounding areas. However, the distance and cost of doing anything more around Omaruru were really off-putting. Can only say that that was "our experience"."

A very nice yacht club, kayaking, dune tour with Kuiseb Delta Tours, Fat Bike riding in the dunes, great birding (lesser and greater flamingoes, pelicans, etc.). Wildlife such as jackals, brown hyena, a real waterfront restaurant, etc., etc."
