"Just remember in this little (hot) town the pub and hotels only open at 5 pm, we were very thirsty. There is really absolutely nothing to do here, it's just a stay-over town."
"A great alternative to Richmond or Beaufort-West for an overnight stay."
Strate stil. Pragtige kerkgebou. Heelike pizzas."
"Baie vriendelike mense, fantastiese restaurant - Feathers, met heerlike kos."
"Die dorp bied min gerief vir besoekers. Baie ongure karakters in strate.
"Hanover is a halfway point between the WC and Johannesburg - it doesn't really have anything else to recommend it."
"The small restaurant called Feaders was very helpful during load-shedding."
"Although it is safe, there is not much in Hanover, but it is the perfect overnight stop on the way to and from Johannesburg and Cape Town."
"Hanover was an unexpected delight. The entrance to the town is not encouraging and if I hadn't had a quick, friendly response from our host when I made the booking, we might well have decided to give Hanover a miss. I am so glad we didn't. It has all the tranquillity and charm one expects from a Karoo town. And we enjoyed the unexpected sight of hundreds of Rock Kestrels - summer visitors from Europe."
