"Middelburg is conveniently situated for a stop-over between the Southern Cape and the Free State."
"My brother and I had supper at the local pub, service was warm and friendly we were made to feel like one of the locals, and the meal was delicious."
"I will stay a little longer next time to be able to experience the town and its sights."
"Baie klein, stil dorp. Eetplek waar ons 1ste aangeklop het was baie onsmaaklik. "I only speak English"?
"Prince Albert has much to offer if you enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay in the country with a Saturday market, galleries, restaurants, antiques- able to still safely walk through the streets and note the mixture of farm and town together. A walk up the "Koppie" is always a must and a ride down the Weltevrede road or up the Swartberg Pass to the Hell is always recommended if you enjoy gravel travel. To truly appreciate and soak up the atmosphere you need to stay a few nights to explore and relax."
"A quirky, quaint and lovely village. Don't go there with your Jo'burg manners and expectations, just embrace the slow pace and Karoo hospitality."
"It is a good stop-over option between JHB - CPT as it is not as busy as the other options within the area."
"It is a nice, friendly village which works well but it is small so you need to know what you want to do and see. I went for the Park Run, one of if not the smallest Park Run in the world."
