Komatipoort
Description
Komatipoort is a town at the confluence of the Crododile and Komati Rivers in the Mpumalanga province. It is an important holiday destination as it is situated only 8km from the Crodocile Bridge Gate into the Kruger National Park, 5km from the Mozambique border and 65km from the Swazi border. The town offers day trips into the Park, day trips to neighbouring countries, golf, fishing and elephant back safari's.
Komatipoort is one of South Africa's hottest towns with an average winter temperature of a perfect 26 degrees Celsius moving to a summer average of 33 degrees Celsius.
