"A quaint little town filled with shops selling a variety of artisan products. Great atmosphere with people walking and talking all around the square. Picturesque walking routes varying in length and difficulty. There are multiple outdoor activities in the surrounding areas. Truly worth the visit and if you enjoy outdoor activities - plan to stay longer than a weekend!"

"We loved the quaintness of Clarens. There are enough eateries to cater for everyone's taste. There are beautiful walks and mountain biking trails. We took a drive along the Fouriesburg road and stopped at a road side viewing spot to watch the sun set. An amazing long weekend away."
