"Om by Kommetjie te kom vereis dat mens deur 'n groot informele nedersetting ry (tensy die lang ompad gevat word). Dit was vreedsaam toe ons verby is, maar volgens wat ons verneem kan dit soms onveilig wees om daar deur te ry. Die meeste van die plekke in die area maak vroeg toe, so as mens vakansie hou moet jy daarvan bewus wees anders gaan jy dalk sonder aandete sit! Ongelukkig was ons nie lank genoeg daar om regtig te verken nie, maar dit is 'n pragtige area en baie rustig. Vir seker 'n plek waar mens se siel kan rus en kunstenaars kan inspirasie kry. "

Jy kan kies om of Simonstad toe te gaan of Houtbaai vir lekker vars vis en skyfies. Dan is daar ook die pragtige strande in die omgewing van Boulders Beach in Simonstad tot Muizenberg is net ongelooflik. Dan is daar ook die Longbeach Mall se lekker eetplekke en winkels. Dit als het gesorg vir die beste vakansie ooit."

"Vishoek is baie lekker stapvriendelik. Die strand self was wonderlik en dis so mooi. Die dorpie het als wat mens benodig as mens jou eie kos wil maak. Die restaurante is min, maar daar is oulike plekkies as mens soek of net 'n dorpie of twee verder ry, glad nie vêr nie. Daar is ook 'n trein wat mens kan gebruik om sommer 'n bietjies van een dorpie na die ander te ry vir uitstappies. Ons sal graag terugkom."
